By the authority of a Ramsey County DFL resolution, a Letter of Support Committee for St. Paul is called to consider approving a DFL Letter of Support for the following two ballot questions appearing on the St. Paul ballot at the General Election November 4, 2025:
Independent School District No. 625 Question 1: The board of Independent School District No. 625 (Saint Paul), Minnesota has proposed to increase the School District’s general education revenue by $1,073 per pupil, subject to an annual increase at the rate of inflation.
Saint Paul City Question 1: Should Ordinance Ord 25-2, amending Chapter 6.03 of the St. Paul Charter, regarding Administrative Citations take effect?
No other letters of support or endorsements may be considered.
The St. Paul DFL party unit has terminated operations under its current constitution and is awaiting approval by the DFL State Central Committee of a new constitution based on even-year precinct caucuses. In absence of a St. Paul unit, the Ramsey County DFL holds authority and this Call is issued pursuant to that authority.
From the DFL Constitution (Art. IV, Sect. 5): “a letter of support does not constitute a DFL endorsement. . . . A candidate who receives a letter of support may advertise that they have received a letter of support from the DFL Party”. Ballot questions are treated like candidates.
The Letter of Support Committee includes any member of a DFL Senate District Central Committee who resides in St. Paul. Precinct Vice Chairs serve as alternates for their Chair. For questions about credentials, please contact: info@sd64dfl.org
